
THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT

The development would include:

A new garden centre, comprising 8,130 sqm gross internal floorspace, with an external sales area of 3,400 sqm

An additional 2,362 sqm gross retail floorspace, with potential to accommodate a number of other smaller operators

618 no. car parking spaces (including parent and child and accessible spaces)

Vehicular access from Hawfinch Drive
The new garden centre would be occupied by Blue Diamond and further details on their operation are provided on the next page.
Operators for the other retail units are yet to be confirmed. However, they are likely to be national operators who are not currently represented in the Alnwick area and/or who cannot meet their requirements within Alnwick Town Centre.
This could include retailers such as Lakeland, Cotswold Outdoor, Trek, Hotter Shoes, Pavers and Pets Corner.
